Hi,

I have codegear 2007 installed and I used Delphi Distiler.

Now, I downloaded delphi 2010 iso and I'm trying to install it.

During the install, it stucks on with a message 'unregistering borland.studio.toolsapi.dll' and don´t proceed with the install.

I have tried the install by burning a DVD and unpacking the files on hard drive too without sucsess.

What can I do to solve this problem.

Maybe you can unregister that assembly manually using Regasm.

If I do it , will my codegear 2007 have some problems? Does it stops to work?

The toolsapi assembly is the part of the IDE that deals with third party addons that are .NET related. Unregistering it may or may not affect your work. But if it stops working you only need to reinstall D2007, no big deal.
