If you mean Lazarus... It's really weak. Last time I used, was very unstable and not polished at all. Don't want to go back
to D3... (It uses packages now, doesn't?)

I have to agree. It lagged up my computer so much. And to be honest, there aren't that many features. Which is exactly why I prefer Delphi.

ofcourse free pascal is not same Delphi, But if we not want improve that, people not improve it.Think like this, if you wrote a program long time ago, and people dont want use it, are you improve that? No, but if people want use it and sent more message to you add this one change this one etc. You been happy and thing & try to improve that, aren't you? I hope you can understand me.
Remember, Kylix killed from m$, because people gone to free this mean m$ lost much money

It was killed because it's first version was a disaster, only matched by the fiasco that was Delphi 8.
